Saturday! Impact Hub SF is at 1885 Mission Street in San Francisco and we'll be there 1-5PM. Parking is on the street or behind the building and BART is your best bet for immediate local transit.
Sunday 1-5PM! Port Workspaces is at 344 20th Street in Oakland near Lake Merritt, closest to the 19th St. BART stop and easily walkable from a few local parking garages.
Heading to Butte County? Let us know so we can help you plug in with local volunteers who need your help! Projects can include setting up classrooms, permaculture remediation, driving RVs, moving donations to new sites, photo/video of potential land/sites or building shelters or many more - we want to hear your ideas here.
Wondering what types of hacks and projects might be useful?
We're looking for anything in rapid shelter, remediation, data science for recovery, apps and tools for responders and anything that helps improve the lives of those who are currently struggling after these fires. We are especially excited to see any hacks that help build future resilient communities and better response teams for the future.
If you have any questions about the hackathon, please post on the discussion forum.
